Pre-incubation program for student business initiatives support

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Project is aimed to establish and test innovational model of support for student business initiatives in Kragujevac (pre – incubation support program), which is based on establishing rounded up  system for encouragement of students for engaging in entrepreneurship. Suggested model consits of the following steps:
Step 1: Program for raising student motivation, informing level and recruitment
Step 2: Strengthening entreprenuhship competences through trainig program and mentorship
Step 3: Financial support for best student business initiatives, aimed for further development and testing of business idea

PROJECT TARGET GROUP

Young people, students of University of Kragujevac, with entrepreneurial potential and ambitions.

EXPECTED PROJECT RESULTS:

1. Developed and piloted pre-incubation program of support for student business initiatives – this result will be achieved through following activities:
   • Program promotion, motivation of potential partcipants and recruitment
   • Training program and mentorship for student business initiatives
   • Competition for the best student business initiative
2. Pre-incubation pilot support program for development of student busines initiatives evaluated, improved and ready for further implementation, that will be achieved through following activities: 
   • Preparation for further model implementation
   • Advocacy initiative for the institutionalization of the model

GENERAL PROJECT AIM:

Contribute to improving the employability and employment of young men and women, through creating conditions for the development of youth entrepreneurship.

SPECIFIC PROJECT AIM:

 To pilot a functional mechanism of support to student business initiatives in Kragujevac
