Career Days project, organized by student organization AIESEC, will be held for the third time in Kragujevac.
“Career days” is a project aiming towards solving problems of unemployment through providing possibilities for young people for work, practice and education. This project has been implemented for twenty years by the international student organization named AIESEC in Belgrade, and the project will be implemented for the third time in Kragujevac.
Realization of the “Career days” project will include two mutually connected project segments - Career Perspective and Career Insight.
Within the first part of the project, Career Perspective, that will be held on March 9th and 10th at the Faculty of Law, workshops and education courses will be organized regarding career planning, CV writing, behavior during the process of selection, etc. The idea of this section is to prepare students and young unemployed people heading towards the labor market for this first step and directly affect their competitiveness in the market. Realization of this part of the project is supported by Balance Consulting, career Development Center, Business Innovation Center, Vulovic transport and Magneti Marelli.
Career Insight, the central part of the Career Days project, will be held on March 11th, at the Hotel Kragujevac, beginning at 12 PM. Companies, participants of this project, will have the opportunity to present their work, aims and values to young people. This project aims include introducing potential employers to young people, providing an opportunity to be informed about work requirements, job possibilities and practice in the field of professional development.
Final year students and all interested young people may submit their CV to the database at the Career Days website, and the data will be available for the companies after the completion of this year's project as well. Moreover, they may personally hand their CV over to the companies that will participate in the Career Insight event.
The final part of the project is a panel discussion on the subject “Learning for Serbia”, which will be held on March 11th at 4.30 PM at the Hotel Kragujevac. Lecturers are Prof. Miodrag Lovrić, Dušan Krejaković and Jelena Lučić. They will share their personal experience, challenges and provide their own view of the topic to the participants. Participation in this discussion is open for all interested citizens.
