Cluster participates in the International Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Milan, Italy, from March 16th to 19th, 2015.
Regional Agency for Economic Development of Šumadija and Pomoravlje through realization of Project NEXT offers the possibility of innovative companies from the territory of Šumadija and Pomoravlje to take part in the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Milan http://www.gec.co/, moreover to present and promote their products, improve their position in the international market, contact research - scientific institutions, potential investors, business partners and managers of leading companies in the world.
Within its scope of activities on the Project NEXT regions, Marche, a leading partner, participates in the Global Entrepreneurship Congress, which will be held 16 – 19 March and where project partners will be introduced.
Project NEXT is implemented by 11 partners in 6 countries: Italy, Croatia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro. Partnership in Serbia is established with Regional Agency for Economic Development of Šumadija i Pomoravlje.
The event is open for companies that have developed a prototype ready for the market or that have already launched innovative-product / services / processes / technologies (innovation must be completely new or significantly modified existing product / service / process / technology).
Two participants from Central Serbia were selected, including ICT Cluster of Serbia from Kragujevac. Due to its innovative activities primarily reflected in activities of Cluster Academy and ICT innovative products that belong to Cluster's members, Cluster was selected to participate in the Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Milan, that gathers 300 lecturers and 9,700 participants from 150 countries world-wide.
ICT Cluster will have an opportunity to present its work, as well as its members and to gain new partners, cooperators and investors which would find its interests in cooperating within this fast-growing industry.
Global Entrepreneurship Congress was first held in 2009, in Kansas City, partly thanks to the World Entrepreneurship Week, and it was organized by Kauffman Foundation. In the first congress, almost 60 countries participated, the number increasing each year, so that there were 90 countries participating in the congress in Dubai the following year; in Shanghai, in 2011 over 100 countries; in Liverpool, in 2012, over 120 countries inspired by Sir Richard Branson, the founder and CEO of Virgin Group, were hosted. In the following year, 2013, the hosting country was Rio de Janeiro, with over 115 countries, and last year, 2014, the hosting country of the congress was Moscow, with 150 participating countries.
This year, it is expected a gathering of the most innovative entrepreneurs from over 150 countries in Milan, together with representatives of investors, scientific and research institutions and organizations.
Again this year, lecturers will be experts in the field of business, led by Sir Richard Branson, who will again inspire many entrepreneurs to go for new victories and their own growth.
